Statements of Faith
Fellowship of Yah has a very different approach to faith. As there are many like us, we are spread thin and our numbers do not reach the amount that world religions do. Below, you will read many things about our faith. Some will be hard to read, some will be common. First and foremost, this is what we believe and this is where our journey has brought us thus far.
Our faith begins and ends with the Father in heaven. We believe that the Father is a single entity that is of Himself.
There is no trinity. Jesus is not God but only a man with a very special job to carry out.
The Holy Spirit is a part of Elohim as we are made in His image, He is a single being with a spirit, similar to us but in a much bigger perspective.
We follow the commands of the Torah and eat clean foods only.
We do not follow the traditions of men, therefore, we do not celebrate any secular holidays.
We observe the festivals of Elohim written in Leviticus 23 and other sections of the Scriptures.
We are not Jewish, Jehovahs Witness, Messianic Jewish, Christians or 7th Day Adventists. We are not stereotyped by any religion as we do not support religion.
We believe religion is a creation of man to control the people by the law of morality and into worshiping the law of morality and government.
We are an independent preaching ministry that preaches the GOOD NEWS OF TORAH. The WORD OF GOD!
The reason we left Christianity is because we started to realize that the Bible isn’t just an inspired Word of God but there is a test in there. The test is simple, can you tell who your God is? Throughout the Bible one will see a common denominator written of life and salvation is to those who love the one who Created them. Elohim. This love is shown with works, faith, belief and most importantly, obedience. When one starts to understand that the New Testament is a record of the words of men, one starts to read the Scriptures differently. It starts coming to life.
Paul was the beginning of the change out of Christianity. He was clearly seen violating the law of Elohim, contradicting those same laws, leading sheep astray, stealing a position and ultimately creating himself to be the golden calf of the western world. That golden calf commonly usurps Jesus, Christianities savior, quite often. Telling people to do all sorts of things that Jesus never said to do. Then he makes Jesus a God throughout all his letters. When you realize this and when you start to look at Paul as a man, change is undoubtedly about to follow.
“On the other hand, we denounce with righteous indignation and dislike men who are so beguiled and demoralized by the charms of pleasure of the moment, so blinded by desire, that they cannot foresee the pain and trouble that are bound to ensue; and equal blame belongs to those who fail in their duty through weakness of will, which is the same as saying through shrinking from toil and pain. These cases are perfectly simple and easy to distinguish. In a free hour, when our power of choice is untrammelled and when nothing prevents our being able to do what we like best, every pleasure is to be welcomed and every pain avoided. But in certain circumstances and owing to the claims of duty or the obligations of business it will frequently occur that pleasures have to be repudiated and annoyances accepted. The wise man therefore always holds in these matters to this principle of selection: he rejects pleasures to secure other greater pleasures, or else he endures pains to avoid worse pains.”
