Remember Your Elohim

There are two points to take from this scripture
Point 1: Doctrinal Deception
Point 2: Remember Your Provider or lose what you were given

Point 1: Doctrinal Deception – The meal prayer

For so many years I have been taught that we sit down, say grace and then we eat. However, when you look at the Bible and the words of the Most High Elohim as well as our Judean brothers, they show us to eat and be full then give thanks. The giving thanks after the meal has its place and it’s logic. Here in Deuteronomy 8, we can see that the whole purpose of praying after you eat is to make you have the Word, the Most High and everything that He has given you, on your mind in gratitude and remembrance. The biggest goal is to make sure you never forget who has given you what you have.

Yet another deception from the church. Protestants were so afraid to be like the Catholic or Jewish religions, so protestants changed the time of prayer in defiance to Catholicism and Judaism both of whom pray after they eat. I’m not saying these religious machines are right but they did get this right. Go ahead, read on.

Point 2: Remember Your Provider

Our Elohim gives us so much throughout life, however, we tend to take credit for the work of the Most High. People say, “look what I’ve done, look what I’ve accomplished, look what I’ve grown or created.” Far too often, we forget that without the Most High, we can’t build, grow or accomplish anything. He is the one that gives us the ideas, He is the one that gives us the tools, He is the one that allows us to do and receive anything. We need to always REMEMBER OUR PROVIDER. We need to remember we are nothing without Him. We need to remember that He can take away and destroy everything we have. He can give the possessions He gave us, to our enemies. We must right the ship and put Him at the head of everything, not just where we are comfortable in wanting our Father to be. We need to have Him every where, tied into everything and we should want it and worship Him for it.

Deuteronomy 8:10-20

10 And you shall eat and be full, and you shall bless the Lord your God for the good land he has given you.
11 “Take care lest you forget the Lord your God by not keeping his commandments and his rules and his statutes, which I command you today,
12 lest, when you have eaten and are full and have built good houses and live in them,
13 and when your herds and flocks multiply and your silver and gold is multiplied and all that you have is multiplied,
14 then your heart be lifted up, and you forget the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery,
15 who led you through the great and terrifying wilderness, with its fiery serpents and scorpions and thirsty ground where there was no water, who brought you water out of the flinty rock,
16 who fed you in the wilderness with manna that your fathers did not know, that he might humble you and test you, to do you good in the end.
17 Beware lest you say in your heart, ‘My power and the might of my hand have gotten me this wealth.’
18 You shall remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you power to get wealth, that he may confirm his covenant that he swore to your fathers, as it is this day.
19 And if you forget the Lord your God and go after other gods and serve them and worship them, I solemnly warn you today that you shall surely perish.
20 Like the nations that the Lord makes to perish before you, so shall you perish, because you would not obey the voice of the Lord your God.

So many things over the past seven years have shown me that everything and I mean everything needs to be put against the test of scripture. It’s gotten to be so much that even when we pray for meals are a lie and most of church systems have turned the “faith” into a death trap. So as we strive to follow morality so we can say that we believe we are “good” people and that should be enough for God to let me in heaven, we are being deceived to follow man down the wide and over-populated road to death.

Which would you rather, remember the Father, find and follow His commands to obtain life or feel good, follow morality and the church, obtain death? Your Choice!
