Passover and The Feast of Unleavened Bread 2021

Watch on Rumble

Exodus 12:3
Speak to all the congregation of Israel, saying, ‘On the tenth of this month they are each one to take a lamb for themselves, according to their fathers’ households, a lamb for each household.

Everyone knows that our Yah takes care of His children so He commanded them to get the lamb and place the blood over the doorposts. This is significant because it gives us the understanding that helps us put Yeshua in his position. We place Yeshua as a human sacrifice for sin and unfortunately that is not the case. That’s actually backwards, its not about Yeshua per say, it’s about his blood. It’s about death passing over those who takes the blood and puts it on their doorposts. In his blood is the saving grace of Yah for death only can see those not marking the doorposts of their spirit in his blood. In his flesh is the word of Yah and that makes him bread. Man shall not live by bread alone. This is why the Feast of Unleavened bread follows this death. Yeshua took the sin of the world but it wasn’t sacrifice for sin, it was more of a faith thing so that death would pass over us and we shall live. With this, we understand how we are set free from death. We are putting the blood on our door post through faith and following what we already knew and that’s the worship and obedience to Father in Heaven. He was the lamb that was slain to save Israel and all who proclaim faith in the Elohim of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob from the grip of death. The church far too often allows Jesus to become God but as we know from the history of the Passover written in Exodus, the lamb wasn’t worshipped or treated as a god but in fact, was only put as a commanded action. Thus we see the Jews memorialize this tradition of slaughtering the lamb every year during Passover as it was commanded forever throughout all our generations.

2 Chronicles 35:11
They slaughtered the Passover animals, and while the priests sprinkled the blood received from their hand, the Levites skinned them.

Now in Chronicles, we see the Hebrews or Jews whatever you want to call them, keeping the commands of Torah and showing the immortalization of the Passover commands and its application. So let’s to some comparison.

Exodus 12:7-13
7Moreover, they shall take some of the blood and put it on the two doorposts and on the lintel of the houses in which they eat it.
8They shall eat the flesh that same night, roasted with fire, and they shall eat it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs.
9Do not eat any of it raw or boiled at all with water, but rather roasted with fire, both its head and its legs along with its entrails.
10And you shall not leave any of it over until morning, but whatever is left of it until morning, you shall burn with fire.
11“‘Now you shall eat it in this manner: with your loins girded, your sandals on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and you shall eat it in haste—it is the Lord’s Passover.
12For I will go through the land of Egypt on that night, and will strike down all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgments—I am the Lord.
13The blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you live; and when I see the blood I will pass over you, and no plague will befall you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt.

Let’s put this into perspective to make things tie together a bit better. First Jewish and biblical scholars have all concluded that Egyptian worshipped Aries and treated the lamb like a god and thus the Hebrews would have been put to death for sacrificing the lamb. This shows us what the Passover lamb really represented, a sign of faith. Just like Abraham went to faithfully follow the commands to sacrifice Isaac, it is the faith that saved Isaac and Abraham. Elohim does not need a sign to know if you are sin free and deserve life rather than death. He already knows that but He wants to see your faith.

Genesis 22:9-12 KJV
And they came to the place which God had told him of; and Abraham built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood. And Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son. And the angel of the LORD called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here am I. And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me.

The Hebrews had everything to fear because they would have known that killing this lamb would have led to their death but because of Moses and the command of Yah to kill the lamb and place the blood on the doorpost and lintel was a sign of their faith thus allowing death to PASS OVER them as it went through the land of Egypt. Just like Yeshua, we need to have faith in what happened to him over what we are taught by the Jews and by those that deny that he came. It also has its place in finding faith through what Yeshua did and not idolizing him in the manner that the Egyptians idolized the lamb in their worship of Aries.

So much has been contorted in the way we are to treat Messiah and in whom we worship and praise. Most churches have been taught and led to treat Messiah as Elohim but that is not what he is. Yes, he came with the word of El implanted into him but he is not god we know that by what we read. He is the Lamb that was slain to show our Faith in Yah to fulfill the prophecies of old. Let’s take some time to look at some comparisons to prove what I am saying.

Exodus 12:46
It is to be eaten in a single house; you are not to bring forth any of the flesh outside of the house, nor are you to break any bone of it.

John 19:36
36 For these things were done that the Scripture should be fulfilled, “Not one of His bones shall be broken.”

Numbers 9:12-13
12 They shall leave none of it until morning, nor break one of its bones. According to all the ordinances of the Passover they shall keep it.
13 But the man who is clean and is not on a journey, and ceases to keep the Passover, that same person shall be cut off from among his people, because he did not bring the offering of the Lord at its appointed time; that man shall bear his sin.

Psalms 34:19-20
19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous,
But the Lord delivers him out of them all.
20 He guards all his bones;
Not one of them is broken.

Isaiah 53:7
He was oppressed and He was afflicted,
Yet He did not open His mouth;
Like a lamb that is led to slaughter,
And like a sheep that is silent before its shearers,
So He did not open His mouth.

Here is the problem we see in Judaism vs Christianity. Judaism, because of the position of the church, believe that Yeshua is being worshipped for being a human sacrifice for sin and is now being worshipped by man stealing the worship of Elohim. The truth is, they are right. That’s exactly what Yeshua has been turned into but he isn’t that at all. He is special don’t get me wrong but throughout his ministry, he always points that the glory is all the Fathers. His work is to the glory of the Father for this lamb that is slaughtered is for all nations, not only the Jews. This is where the disconnect happens between Christianity and Judaism. Yeshua taught to keep the Torah, to observe the Sabbaths of the Torah and to worship Elohim.

Now that the Passover complete and we have had our sin covered by blood and death is going to pass over us and our faith is displayed, we go into the Feast of Unleavened Bread as we have removed the leaven from our spirit and our homes. We enjoy dining on the unleavened bread of the Word of Yah and of wheat. As we come to the close of this feast, lets take a moment to remember everyone that came before us and held these traditions and passed them down for each of them was a vessel of Yah and to Yah’s glory, the commanded traditions of Yah are still kept to this day. It’s absolutely amazing praise the Most High Father.

The Feast of Unleavened Bread

Leviticus 23:5-8
5 In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is the Lord’s passover.
6 And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread unto the Lord: seven days ye must eat unleavened bread
7 In the first day ye shall have an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.
8 But ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the Lord seven days: in the seventh day is an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.

We have a special time in the meaning of the FOUB. We see a time period where we are trying to remove unrighteousness or sin from our lives. A time where we take out the leaven from our homes and a time to seek out our Elohim. We should have a grasp on this thoroughly when we are done today. Sin comes in one or two ways. The first way is through the mind. The mind is carnal but we must make it obedient to the Torah and the commands of the Father. As we witnessed Yeshua in the garden of gethsemane and not wanting to do what he had to do but doing it after a plea to the Father. We see that Yeshua was a great worshipper and pray-er to Father. He always told us to worship Father alone. And that it would be the sign of the true worshippers which is to be worshippers of only the Father.

John 4:22-24 – 22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. 23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. 24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

We know Yeshua came as a teacher and we see many things that transpire after his death and ascension which we will explain another day. Next the second way we must look to remove sin is in our hearts. The heart part of us is our emotions and our emotions tend to get the better of us especially in times of trial whether being physical or mental. We tend to battle feelings of hate, doubt, uncertainty, addiction, etc. the list really does go on and on. These battles are the battles between righteousness and wickedness. We can be better and that’s what this season is all about. The FOUB is a way for us to strive to be better. We have so much to learn with so little time.

The leaven we remove also boils down to traditions and false teachings. We see that Yeshua teaches that we are to remove the leaven of the Pharisees. This statement is huge because what happens in history with men is that we think so much and we try so hard that we make additional hardships for us through our thoughts. Yeshua countered that by telling people to remove these additional commands that the Pharisees have come up with.

Matthew 16:5-6
5 When the disciples reached the other side, they had forgotten to bring any bread.
6 Jesus said to them, “Watch and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees.”

Judaism is a corrupted version of the way that was taught to the Hebrews by Moses from the Father. Paganism has infiltrated their religion just as much as it has infiltrated Christianity. This can be seen by the many events throughout the historical scriptures. There is a consistent battle between the God of Israel and the inhabitants of Israel. You can see this cycle as the Hebrews were led out of bondage and into freedom then they worship a pagan god then they are put back into slavery and the cycle repeats. It is common knowledge about the Jews.

The Hebrews went through 4 different exiles out of Israel due to their false god worship and disobedience. Not only that, they completely disregard Isaiah 53. We see a historical habit in the Jewish people and its only a matter of time before the truth is released and the cycle of old repeats itself. It is coming. We can know this by seeing one of the main abominations of the Torah being widely accepted and now being coalesced in the communities. Here’s a snippet from Myjewishlearning.com,

“Although the idea of a vibrant queer community in Israel, reputed birthplace of the biblical condemnation of same-sex relations, may seem far-fetched, Israel today is one of the world’s most progressive countries in terms of equality for sexual minorities. Politically, legally, and culturally, the community has moved from life at the margins of Israeli society to visibility and growing acceptance.”

What does the God of Israel have to say about this?

Leviticus 18:22
22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.

Leviticus 20:13
13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

This is what the Law of Moses says but the Jews explain this off and say this isn’t what it means and that it is meant for the Priesthood of the Levites until Ezra. How do they get this idea? Remember what I said earlier about how man tends to ponder something until they come up with their own understanding and commands. Let’s see what they say. Keep in mind I’m trying to prove a point.

If we examine these texts according to the Talmudic methods of hermeneutics, we find that on the basis of the Baraitha d’Rabbi Ishmael in the Sifra, on Leviticus, written in the mid-second century of the Common Era, and recited EVERYDAY in our Daily and Shabbat Morning Prayers, Rabbi Ishmael says: “The Torah is interpreted by means of thirteen rules. (Rule Four is…) When a generalization is followed by a specification, only what specifies applies (Miklal u’frat).” The generalization is the text; A man shall not lay with a man… The specification is the text; …as you would with a woman.

So they change the text based on the way a MAN explains to them how to read the text. However, in my own opinion, why must we change the way we read the text when the text itself is pretty clear on what Father really desires for His children and that is to have sex with the opposite sex. If we take this perception of the jewish rabbis and apply it to all of scripture, we could say that’s its okay to sleep with sister, mother, father and brother, aunt, uncle, stepmother, you see where I’m going with this.

This is where the Israelites always screw up which leads to their captivity. Then Yeshua comes and tells everyone to beware of the leaven of the pharisees and this is why. They come up with man made interpretations to trick the masses in performing idolatrous abominable acts but we better not dare to put cheese on a burger. What idiocy? Now I’m not putting down the Jews or judging them, I’m just calling out the garbage that they are spewing .

Now that we are finishing up this feast period and the leaven being removed from your home, spirit and mind, lets finish this up by removing the leaven of the pharisees and saducees.

Next week we will pick this message back up as we learn the false from the true, the place Yeshua is given not to overstep on the Father’s position in our lives and learn more about this Lamb, more about this faith, more about our salvation. Shabbat shalom.
