Relating The Truth To All Who Are Sent

Secular Holidays Pt. 2

Secular Holidays

May – August

Last week we started on a journey to unveiling the truth behind the secular holidays and found one that was okay in St. Patrick’s Day when celebrated correctly. Unfortunately, we don’t have the luxury of delivering good news this week about a secular holiday. We are going to cover birthdays, Cinco De Mayo, Memorial Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Fourth of July, and the Summer Solstice. We will see where all this leads but before we dive right in, I feel I need to explain something about this country. This country was to be founded on our God, YeHoVaH. However, it has been diluted with HaSatans’ garbage and deceptions.

Anyone know about the powers that be in the darkness? That runs this world from behind closed doors. When you think about these holidays, you have to keep in mind that these “ELITE” let things happen for a reason. They have holidays that suit them but they allow the Holy Days of YeHoVaH to cause division as well. Think about it, when one learns how evil Horusmas or Christmas is, how well received is it from your family? The same goes for any other holiday out there that the truth is revealed about. If the elite abolish all that is righteous, then there would be less division amongst families.

The enemy has eons of practice at deception. He is smarter, wiser, more cunning, more heartless, and filled with so much hatred that deception, despair, pain, hate, agony and sorrow are his best friends. He knows nothing of love, joy, happiness or anything of that nature. Living in darkness is like living in a jail cell with the cell door wide open. The enemy makes the cell so comfortable that you don’t want to leave it. He makes it seem so enjoyable that leaving the confines of your cell even seems like torture and punishment. It’s really a deception, living in darkness causes so much pain and you really don’t understand it until you step out and see all the people you hurt including yourself. Up until the point that we walk away from this facade that society has taught us, we have no clue or idea of the damage we cause. I have people who have turned on me because of this stuff. My wife has family that doesn’t even respect the fact that YeHoVaH, Himself changed her name and refuses to call her by the name that the Ultimate Father gave her. This is the type of hurt that this jail cell causes. It may seem you are living a righteous life but as long as you betray the Fathers word, you are only fooling yourself. These holidays are the same! Lets start with scripture.

Hosea 4:6
6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

Birthdays

According to the satanic bible, birthdays are the highest of pagan holidays. It is all about self. The exaltation of self, shows the effort of being a god, or your own god. There are also direct connection to witchcraft and birthdays through astrology and fortune telling. The early followers of Messiah did not celebrate Messiah’s birth, neither those called Jews, or the new believing Gentiles. That would have been considered to be a heathen practice.  Birthdays are only meant to be a recording of a memory that has taken place, for historical purposes. A child is a gift from YHVH, and the process of cleanliness, which leads to the dedication of this child back to the FATHER who created him.

There are two birthdays recorded in the Bible. The first is in Genesis 40:20 It is Pharaoh’s birthday celebration, and he had the baker put to death. The second is in Matthew 14:6. It is Herod’s birthday, and he had John the Baptist put to death. Birthday celebrations originated from the ancient world of Egypt-Greece-Rome-Persia, as they celebrated the births of their gods. If you were listening last week, you heard it touched upon about December 25. There are many gods whose birthday falls upon this date, always coming back to the mystery religions of those against Yeshua. Maybe this is a perspective of why Yeshua (Jesus) does not want us to focus on HIS birthday, or any birthday. But instead, on HIS death and resurrection which brings LIFE!

One can take into perspective the relationship between the only two birthdays mentioned in the bible and death. If being pagan, practicing pagan ways, honoring pagan days and acting pagan even tho we claim righteousness through Yeshua can lead to death. It makes you wonder why our Father used Pharoah’s and Herod’s birthday to exalt the birthday celebration connected to death. Instead of it being physical, it seems as though it’s more spiritual now a days. Remember when people use to get so angry over people forgetting their birthday? What makes us so important to remember when without YeHoVaH, our birth would have never happened? When birthdays come about, instead of celebrating ourselves, we need to celebrate the miracle of life given by our Father to allow us to live.

AS HISTORY HAS IT

Customs of History can be about certain people or events that have taken place. For example: memories and facts of battles won or lives lost. Paganism comes into play, when these days are turned into something different, as commercialism, partying, playful activities that don’t have much to do with the day. This is the stain that takes away from the meaning of these people and their events. A watering down of importance…kind of like the church being watered down, to its complacency and lukewarm place of comfort and political correctness. Of taking a day that marks a stand being taken for a belief, and turning it into a day of surrender to tolerance. That is the where the evil lies. There are two examples Cinco De Mayo, and Memorial Day observances. These both were remembrances of battles of victory or defeat, and of lives lost.

Cinco De Mayo

The fifth of May—commemorates the Mexican army’s 1862 victory over France at the Battle of Puebla during the Franco-Mexican War (1861-1867). This war was about resistance to foreign intervention. In the United States, Cinco de Mayo has taken on a significance beyond that in Mexico. In the U.S. the date has become associated with the celebration of Mexican-American culture. In Mexico, the commemoration of the battle continues to be mostly ceremonial, such as through military parades.

On top of the information that results in the historical facts of this holiday, lets look at how it is taken out of context. For example, this holiday is minor in Mexico but because of the alcohol industry and the insatiable American need to celebrate and party on any given holiday, Cinco de Mayo is about getting drunk more than anything. That’s the commercial side of things. There’s also witchcraft associated to this holiday. I’m not going to recite the spells that I found online as I do not dabble into witchcraft but they do exist. For the majority of the spells found, they are for freedom of self, healing of an imprisoned person, a strengthening of a persons feeling to be free. In other words, to be ones own god that no one can take away your freedom.

Memorial Day

An American holiday observed on the last Monday of May, honors men and women who died while serving in the U.S. military. Originally known as Decoration Day, it originated in the years following the Civil War and became an official federal holiday in 1971. Many Americans observe Memorial Day by visiting cemeteries or memorials, holding family gatherings and participating in parades. What people don’t realize is the power these holidays have in the witchcraft realm of things. Let’s look into that a little before we move on to the rest of this sermon.

Memorial Day is about remembering the fallen of the wars we have had in the past to provide liberty and freedom but in America today it has become more about mattress sales and backyard barbecues. On one particular witchcraft website, this day has now become a day to celebrate a ritual of lives and loves lost and they do this ritual in a manner in which pagans honor the dead. Remember pagans honor the dead regularly. It’s one of their main points of focus. There are other spells and rituals out there but as I said about Cinco de Mayo, I will not bring all of the spells and rituals to light. We don’t want to shine light on to things of darkness. Honoring the dead as to idolize them and remembering them are two different things.

Mother’s Day

Definition according to Encyclopedia Britannica…
A festival derived from the custom of mother worship. In Ancient Greece, with ceremonies to Rhea, the wife of Cronus, who is considered to be the great mother of gods. In Rome she is called Cybele, mother goddess. The Roman religious celebration known as Hilaria, lasted 3 days, from March 15-18. America adopted it on May 10th 1953. Let us also consider that this is a spring celebration in time to worship mother earth and/or mother nature, with all of the customs, rituals and ceremonies of new age and wicca. According to YeHoVaH’s Commands, we should be honoring our parents everyday of their lives and ours. Don’t allow the expectation of a day or it’s commercialism get all over you. Don’t allow the unclean spirits of ancient mystery religions get a hold on you. Shake it all off. Bind it all up. Send it to the pit, cast it down! In the Name of Yeshua!!! Dust yourselves and love each other every day that you are given. Please check yourself in Exodus 20:2-7.

Exodus 20:2-7
2 I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.
5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
7 Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

Pagans in ancient times celebrated Mother’s Day to honor their mother. Let’s learn about that. The Pagans called her by many names. She was known as Aphrodite, Cybele, or Sybyl, Diana, Electra, Europa, Isis, Venus, Semiramis, Ashtoreth and Astarte, — Ishtar Feast days honoring the mother goddesses  were known from antiquity. The fact that Americans only began doing so for a little over 100 years facilitates the cognitive divorce between the hoary practice of the ancients and contemporary Americans, many of whom claim to practice the Christian faith. Many christians try to justify the pagan practices as being now redeemed as appropriate holidays to practice in the christian faith. How dishonoring to our Father considering the stance He takes in Deuteronomy 12.

Matthew 10:37
37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.

It is no coincidence that the annual Rites of Spring Pagan Celebration in New England, began during Mother’s Day weekend in May of 1979, near Boston where Julia Ward Howe, held the first organized Mother’s Day meetings of America.  A similar event was held last year, Mothers Day weekend in Berkeley, California.  In Brighton – United Kingdom, and elsewhere, there were comparable celebrations dedicated to the Mother goddess. As other holidays having roots in Pagan sun worship, Mothers Day is always held on the day named in honor of the Sun.

It is a sad fact that most professing believers will refuse to hear or consider the truth contained herein. They will complain that their “Christian” values are under attack in this nation, and yet will observe Pagan inspired celebrations which were foisted upon them by the same nation that works to their destruction. They reject the knowledge of God and his feast days and embrace the practices of the heathen. If God’s people forget his law, is it also not right that he should forget them?

Hosea 4:6
6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

Father’s Day

Being that Father’s Day is within the summer solstice and the fact that it is dated to the observance of the day of the sun…veneration of the sun god “ra”, who is believed to have overcome the darkness by sunrise…through a resurrection after sundown of going into the darkness. This day is also celebrated with bonfires, as the fire would prevent evil spirits from entering the village. Sun wheels were also employed to mark the occasion. A wheel would be set on fire and rolled down a hill into a river waiting below. If the fire extinguished prior to reaching the river…a good harvest would be had by all. Sometimes called the Great Sky-Father’s Day, another god named Lugh, coming from the Celtic background. He is also associated with solar veneration, in this case sun worship. But like all pagan rituals, Constantine has to apply his kiss, so the Roman Catholic Church has Christianized this day as St. John’s Day as well.  Modern day believers can call HIM Christ, or Messiah…but refusing to hear AND do HIS Commands, will bring a rude awakening on Judgment Day. Here are some scriptures: Deuteronomy 18:9, Jeremiah 10:1-2, and Luke 6:46-49. Let these permeate your soul.

Deuteronomy 18:9
9 When thou art come into the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations.

Jeremiah 10:1-2
1 Hear ye the word which the Lord speaketh unto you, O house of Israel:
2 Thus saith the Lord, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.

Luke 6:46-49
46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?
47 Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like:
48 He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.
49 But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.

Most agronomic civilizations since ancient times, have commemorated the summer solstice with celebrations and worship of the sun. Also known in some English speaking countries as Midsummer, it was often celebrated with bonfires, sometimes referred to as “setting the watch.” It was believed that this fire would prevent evil spirits from entering a village. This Pagan ritual was in celebration of the power of the sun god, overcoming the darkness.

So once again we see the pagan connection to a holiday that our nation has made common among christian believers. However, through research and some digging, we see the stance of YeHoVaH of not doing what the heathens(pagans) do and be set apart. Lets reiterate why our Father tells us this. Because the actions of the pagans are an abomination to Him and reminds Him of the sons and daughters that were sacrificed to the gods of the pagans. Why would we want to be associated with such actions when most of the western world is pro-life minus abortionists?

Independence Day

The fourth of July has been difficult to research. At first I could only find articles relating the feeling of oppression and bondage by the acts of slavery in this country. Sadly ironic view of what Independence and freedom is. I tried to search for pagan origin, there was not much-other than a couple of things pertaining to numerology (the meaning and symbolism of numbers). Then I thought about the symbolism. I thought about our Founding Fathers and the Declaration of Independence. Remembering that many who signed this remarkable paper were free masons. Nine out of fifty-six. I decided to go down this road. The masons are a dark, mysterious, and serious brotherhood. They are not a club.

Their oaths are done in promises of blood if betrayed. The higher the level, the closer one gets to the angel of light – described as “true light.” Have you guessed his name? It is our accuser…hasatan. It has not been about the impact on the revolution, but the principles. The basis was that religion must not be a topic of conversation in business or lodge. This is where the separation of church and state comes from. The fight to divide these two entities was why the first Americans left Europe. The majority wanted freedom to practice their faith, and not be under thumb of the governing body. However, the familiar spirits…those mysterious beliefs, traditions, rituals, and such came too.

We need to realize as believers, as followers of Messiah – we should not have anything to do with secular holidays. We can not court with Yeshua, and with hasatan. As we see in Deuteronomy 12:4 which says…Do not worship Adonai your ELohim in the way these pagans worship their gods. And in Jeremiah 10:2 which says…Thus saith Adonai, learn NOT the way of the heathen. Another way to approach this holiday is through the stance of which the declaration of independence was drawn on,life,  liberty, freedom, equality and the pursuit of happiness. So, when you look at the qualities above and then take into perspective the times in which this was written and signed, you see a lot of hypocrisy being that slavery was running rampant at this time.

It took almost 100 years from the signing to the abolishment of slavery. It was originally drafted in to the declaration by Thomas Jefferson, a passage that attacked slavery. However, it was removed from the final document when the elite did not want to sacrifice their money machine for equality, liberty, freedom, life and the pursuit of happiness. Lets look at the original draft,

“He has waged cruel war against human nature itself, violating its most sacred rights of life and liberty in the persons of a distant people who never offended him, captivating & carrying them into slavery in another hemisphere or to incur miserable death in their transportation thither.  This piratical warfare, the opprobrium of infidel powers, is the warfare of the Christian King of Great Britain.  Determined to keep open a market where Men should be bought & sold, he has prostituted his negative for suppressing every legislative attempt to prohibit or restrain this execrable commerce.  And that this assemblage of horrors might want no fact of distinguished die, he is now exciting those very people to rise in arms among us, and to purchase that liberty of which he has deprived them, by murdering the people on whom he has obtruded them: thus paying off former crimes committed again the Liberties of one people, with crimes which he urges them to commit against the lives of another.”

So while one of our founding fathers was against slavery, the rest backed it and supported it even tho it was hypocratic to this nations Declaration of Independence. Now we see where this holidays foundation lies. It lies in greed for money. When it says on the back of your bill “In God We Trust”, what god are you trusting in? The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob or the god of greed in money? This greed led to the foundation of slavery, which is human trafficking, the number one goal of slavery is to make the greedy richer and richer. The number one hidden crime in this world is human sex trafficking and it claims the lives of thousands of many girls and boys in this country and around this world. So the next time you think about celebrating the 4th of July, remember how many people’s freedom was stomped on when it was written. Remember how many people died without freedom serving a human master against their will.
